Tommy traded in his trumpet for a guitar at age 12 and never looked back. By age 15 he had already been playing gigs as far away as San Francisco. He continued with music in many areas on stage or behind the scenes. In 1980 as stage manager for Jefferson Starship he co-wrote their hit “Find Your Way Back” with childhood friend Craig Chaquico. Upon returning to Sacramento he decided to try Country music and traveled the west for over 4 years. Tiring of travel he worked in various local bands until 1994 when he met Jeff Merrick of Flashback fame. In 2004 he needed a break to raise his son. Now that his son has grown he has reconnected with Jeff and again found himself as his bass player in Take Out.
